Breaking the rules / Exploring the 'Black' #1

So to follow up spinning the black circle, the next 2 songs that queued up also suspiciously had the word 'black' in the song title and then band name.

So lets have some fun with that. I'm going to pause the random-o-meter for the next week and go on a '7-day exploration of black'. Yep, breaking my own rules already.

Shouldn't be hard though. I mean if the most prevalent first letter in a Metal Band's name is either 'B' or 'D', then finding a decent selection of materal should be a cinch. Apologies in advance if your favorite 'black' song, album or artist doesn't make the cut! I've still got another 350+ days to get to a full year of posts ... so dont despair ... there is still time!

I'm going to use the 2-degrees of separation rule for selecting material - each band or song will need to be within 2-degrees of separation of an album, artist, band member or song from my collection.

This first one was easy. Black Light Burns is one of those 'supergroup' side hustles that when you read the Artist bio it will just 'click'. Highly recommend exploring the full catalog - its a grab bag of crunchy, punky, ambient, industrial, and ear-worm level goodness!
