This one transports me straight back to 1995. Well, the summer of 95/96 to be exact.
I played my first gig as lead (cough ... only) guitarist, with the band formerly known as the 'Voodoo Surf Nazis' (Point Break reference there), who were now known simply as 'Mosh'. We packed into a smallish Siesta Motel lobby / bar / lounge in Portland, southwest Victoria.
On the setlist a collection of covers from the late 80's and early 90's with a leaning towards 'B-sides' rather than the 'album singles'. And in the list, this little banger that was just poppy enough to get the punters girlfriends dancing...
