'Earth Crisis' I think are the proof that my predilection is to be drawn to music because of its riffs and feel, not so much by its lyrics. I really couldn't tell what was going on lyrically or contextually for them. It was in your face. It had sufficiently distorted riffage. That was enough.
However, when researching today, it does appear they are widely considered the early pioneers of 'Vegan Hardcore', strait laced, animal and human libertarian, environmentalist, drug-free living.
Who woulda' thunk it? I suppose it was sort of 'as labelled on the tin'...
This one from the sole album in the collection, but after a poke around, there does appear to be some later gems in the catalogue that may warrant further listening.
