I can't explain why I like this song. From the minute I first heard it, it just ... resonated. I'd long been a fan of Cog, who when they took a hiatus, the brothers Gower (Flynn and Luke) formed the Occupants. This just felt like it was, pardon the pun, another well-fitting cog in the big machine.
A shout out to El Pablo, who pointed me in the direction of Cog (amongst other Aus bands) during his 'Adventures in Sydney' moonlighting as a freelance gig photographer!
I do realise this is now two songs from The Occupants in a relatively short period of posts (given my posting absence over August). But when it came up on the random playlist, I couldn't pass it up.
