Before I began writing this post, I thought I'd throw on 'The Tea Party' back catalog for some inspiration. I'll be upfront, they haven't featured in my rotations of late, so it was necessary to become reacquainted. Going back and listening to each album from start to finish, and in particular giving 'Edges of Twilight' a double go around, I was reminded exactly why they existed in the collection to start with.
A mix of acoustic, eastern infused, blues/rock with distinct influences of The Doors and Led Zeppelin in the mix, they defy conventional categorisation. So, I'm just going to go with 'Nath's Thumbs Up'.
It also made picking just a single solitary song for this post quite a process. In the end I reverted to the random-o-meter to help me out, and we ended up here. The guitarist in me is happy with this selection.
