This blast from the past dredged up by the random-o-meter goes out to the JB Hi-Fi $5 CD bin ... where all the most random, crazy, and intriguing stuff could be found! It was a lucky dip, but for adults.
Purchased back in the day upon a 'knowing wink' from El Pablo, our favourite VC Commodore owning JB employee and fellow Chisholm College / Computer Science alumni, this sophomore offering ended up also being the bands last in 1997 after the death of their bassist. 27 years later news has it however that they've reformed to play Sick New World (U.S.A)
Exploring the small back catalogue (including a demos era compilation) won't be cumbersome, and within it you'll find a melting pot of genres spanning sludge, death, stoner, thrash and the odd acoustic ditty to boot. For those 'faint of heart' lyrically however, beware, as there are some very dark areas of the human experience explored with an ever-present subtext of drug abuse and sexual coercion.
